Cambridge B2 First (FCE)

B2 First, formerly known as the First Certificate in English (FCE), is the Cambridge English exam that certifies level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. It is the level most often required to study or work in an English-speaking environment: at B2 you can take part in conversations fluently and argue your point of view.

It has four parts: Reading and Use of English (7 parts, 1 hour 15 minutes), Writing (two tasks, 1 hour 20 minutes), Listening (about 40 minutes) and Speaking (about 14 minutes, in pairs or groups of three). The marks for each part are converted to the Cambridge English Scale to give your result.
