Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE)
C2 Proficiency, formerly known as the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), is the Cambridge English exam that certifies level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference, the highest of all: someone who uses English with the precision and ease of a highly educated speaker.
It has four parts: Reading and Use of English (7 parts, 1 hour 30 minutes), Writing (two tasks, 1 hour 30 minutes), Listening (about 40 minutes) and Speaking (about 16 minutes, in pairs or groups of three). The marks for each part are converted to the Cambridge English Scale to give your result.
