Material to prepare for Cambridge A2 Key (KET), the exam that certifies A2-level English.
2 productsA2 Key, formerly known as the Key English Test (KET), is the Cambridge English exam that certifies level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference: someone who can get by in simple, everyday situations in English.
It has four parts. Reading and Writing are taken together but assessed separately: 5 reading parts and 2 writing tasks, a short email or message of at least 25 words and a story of at least 35 words based on three pictures. Listening takes about 30 minutes and Speaking, done in pairs, between 8 and 10. Your score is not a sum of correct answers: the marks for each part are converted to the Cambridge English Scale.
To prepare each part, use my free Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking guides for A2 Key, and to mark your mock exams, my free online calculator or the Excel version in this shop.
